11. How can I sell my clothing on Closet Space
1. What kind of clothing is sold on Closet Space?
We sell barely and gently worn second hand items on Closet Space. We aim to sell the gems in our closets that have been ignored.
To make a bid you need to make a comment on the item you wish to bid on. Your bid must be at least R1 more than the previous bid. You need to be logged in to be able to make a bid. You will need to register if you have not done so previously.
3. How do I win a bid?
To win a bid you must have placed a bid on the item. If your bid is the highest bid at the closing time of the bid then you have won the bid.
4. I’ve won a bid, now what?
If you have won a bid Closet Space will notify you via email. You will then be asked to pay for your item. Once payment and proof of payment is received, Closet Space will post your item to you.
5. How can I pay?
Closet Space accepts payment via EFT(Electronic Funds Transfer) only. If you have won a bid we will email you our banking details.
6. What are postage options
Closet Space posts your parcels using the South African Post Office. Your parcel with be posted via registered and insured mail. We will send you a tracking number via email. The cost of postage is R35. If you buy multiple items, add R5 per extra item. If you require faster postage please let us know once we email you telling you that you have won the bid.
7. Does Closet Space do returns?
Yes we do. All the garments sold on Closet Space are sold as is, but should a garment not fit you then you can return it to our address, which should be at the back of your parcel. Garments must be returned within two weeks of purchase.
8. I don’t live in South Africa, can I bid?
Closet Space only accepts EFTs as payment and will only post within South Africa.
9. How much higher than the previous bid does my bid need to be?
Your bid must be at least R1 higher than the previous bid.
10. I have a question about an item, who/where can I ask?
If you have a question about an item, you can simply ask it by leaving a comment on the item. We will glady answer your questions there!
